Where do the classes take place and where can I park?Classes take place at ZAG YOGA, HARLAND WORKS, UNIT 14, JOHN STREET, SHEFFIELD, S2 4QU. When you arrive at HARLAND WORKS, go through the gate (pass the cafe on your right). You will see a set of steel stairs. Go up the stairs. At the top you will see a panel with buttons to buzz. Press the button for ZAG YOGA (Unit 14). Go through the door and close it behind you. Take the stairs UP on the RIGHT. Turn RIGHT and follow the corridor to the END. PARKING: There is free parking around the area. Most roads have pay parking (£0.50 hour) on one side of the road and free parking on the other side. Free parking on: John St, Randall St, Arley St and Denby St.

Who can come to The Actors Works?The Actors Works is an open and supportive set of classes for actors and performers to hone and grow their skills, build professional and supportive networks and expand their practice. We also welcome directors, writers and producers. We welcome people of all levels from backgrounds in professional and amateur work, from age 18 upwards.

Can I come to a class even if I haven’t been to the others?Yes, our classes are structured so that they build upon each other, but are also accessible even if you haven’t been to the others.

I’m a director/ producer/ writer. Can I join The Actors Works?Yes! Whilst The Actors Works is primarily aimed at performers, people who want to gain performance skills or better understand the actor's process are welcome.

Do I need to have attended a drama school to come to The Actors Works?No. We all take different paths to becoming a performer. Some of these will be formal training, some won’t.

What should I wear and bring?The classes involve a lot of movement, so wear clothes you can stretch and roll around in. Bring water, a towel, a notebook and pencil or pen.

What is the policy around cancellations and refunds?If you aren't able to attend a class you have booked for, please let us know as soon as possible. You will be issued with a refund if you let us know more than 24 hours before the class takes place.

What is your policy around COVID/illness?If you are feeling unwell, or showing the symptoms of COVID (with or without a positive test), it's best you don't attend the class. The nature of the classes would mean that it could be easy to infect other people. You also won't be able to get the best out of the class. Get in touch 24 hours before the class and we will refund you.
